This policy explains what the Portável Portabilidade app does with your data. It is published by VERTICAL MOBI LTDA.
In one line
Portável reads your contact list inside your device to identify the carrier and the type of each number. Your contacts are not sent to us and are not sent to anyone.
What data the app handles
Contacts
With your permission, the app reads the numbers in your contact list to identify the carrier, classify the line as landline, mobile or business, and recognise the country behind international numbers.
That processing happens on the device itself. The numbers are not transmitted, are not stored on any server of ours, and are not shared.
When you choose to write the information back into your address book, the change is made locally, on the matching contact.
Data we do not collect
We ask for no sign-up and there is no login. We do not collect your name, email, phone number or any identity document. We use no behavioural analytics.
The contacts permission
Access to contacts is requested at the point of use and is what makes the app work. You can refuse it, or revoke it at any time under Settings · Privacy · Contacts on your device. Without it, the app cannot identify carriers.
Who we share it with
Nobody.
How long the data is kept
The app does not retain your address book. The reading happens during use and the result stays on your device. Uninstalling the app removes anything it stored locally.
Your rights
Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018) gives you the right to confirm processing, and to access, correct, anonymise, port and erase your data. If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR gives you equivalent rights.
Because we store nothing on a server, you exercise those rights on the device itself: revoke the contacts permission or uninstall the app. To reach us, write to contato@vertical.mobi. We answer within 15 days.
